Resumen de Desarrollo educativo e inmersión laboral de la mujer mexicana y su impacto familiar: ganancias y pérdidas

  Este trabajo tiene como objetivo hacer un análisis breve de los cambios ocurridos en la mujer mexicana a finales del siglo XX, en el ámbito educativo laboral y familiar, y una reflexión acerca de las ganancias y pérdidas consecuentes de estos cambios. Se presentan algunas estadísticas tomadas del INEGI y de la ANUIES relativas alcrecimiento de la matrícula femenina en los diferentes niveles educativos del país y algunos datos acerca de la presencia de la mujer en el campo laboral. Al final se introducen algunos de los resultados preliminares de encuestas y entrevistas exploratorias a hombres y mujeres de la Ciudad de Mérida acerca de sus opiniones sobre las ganancias y pérdidas de las mujeres que trabajan fuera del hogar.

  The objective of this project is to make a brief analysis of the changes among Mexican women at the end of the XX Century, in the family, the job and the academic field, and a reflection about the gains and losses of such changes. Some of the statistics were taken from the INEGI and from the ANUIES about the increase of the number ofwomen enrolled in schools of different educational levels and data about the participation of women in the work field. Surveys and Interviews were administered to men and women in the city of Merida, in order to know their opinions about the gains and losses of women working outside the home. The preliminary results of such interviews and surveys are annexed at the end of this paper.
