    En este trabajo se intenta demostrar que a pesar de encontrarnos en plena efervescencia de la informática, la robótica, etc., y de concluir este milenio, el factor humano jamás se podrá aislar de ese proceso, por ser efectuado por el hombre mismo. Se describen las principales conductas de las personas con los que interactúa el homo informaticus, en cómo le afecta y cómo reaccionar ante ellas. Así mismo, se propone un perfil del profesional de la información en el siglo XXI.

    We attempt demonstrate in this paper that despite being at the height of informatics, robotics, etc., and about to end this millennium, the human factor cannot ever be isolated of the automation process because this is performed by man himself. The principal behaviors of the people with whom the Homo informaticus interacts, how he is affected by and how he reacts to them, are described. A profile of the XXI century information professional is also proposed.
