  Un total de 385 estudiantes de una escuela preparatoria contestaron dos baterías de cuestionarios, con el propósito de describir (a) las modalidades de trampa en un examen, (b) los factores que propician la trampa, (c) las razones de hacer trampa, y (d) la conducta del examinador de una prueba de matemáticas según los resultados, se encontró que entre las modalidades de trampa más frecuentes están que 'el estudiante permite a otro estudiante mirar la hoja de la prueba' y 'el estudiante hace uso de información escrita de los contenidos del examen en diversos lugares'; entre los factores más frecuentes que propician la trampa resultó que 'los estudiantes hacen más trampa en un examen cuando no estudiaron como deberían' y 'los estudiantes que tienen promedios bajos de calificación hacen más trampa que aquellos que tienen promedios altos'; por otra parte, la razón más frecuente por la que el estudiante recurre a la trampa es la inseguridad de las respuestas que escribe. Por último, se encontró que cerca de un 42% de los sinodales que examinan la prueba no ejercen una estrecha vigilancia para detectar la trampa en los exámenes de bachillerato.

  A number of 385 students from a high school answered two sets of questionaires with the objective of describing (a) the modalities of the cheating in an examination, (b) the factors which cause the cheating, (c) the reasons of doing the cheating, and (d) the behaviour of the examiner of a mathematics test occording to the results, It was found that amongst the modalities of more frequent cheatings are that the student allows his classmate to look at the test shee tand the students uses the written information of the contents of the examination in different places; amongst the more frequent factors which cause the cheating are that the students cheat more in an examination when they did not study as they should have and the students who have lower average notes cheat more than those who have the highest average notes. On the other hand, the most frequent reason why the student cheats is that he feels unsure about the answer. Finally, it was found that almost 42 % of the people who examine the test, do not observe caretully to defect cheating in the exams the cheating in the examinations of the high school.
