Resumen de La utilización de software educativo en la asignatura de Cálculo I de la licenciatura en eduación

  En la Facultad de Educación de la UADY se llevó a cabo un estudio con 10 estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Educación, con el doble propósito de averiguar si la utilización de un sistema experto y solucionador de problemas permitía un mejor aprovechamiento de los estudiantes en el tema de "derivada" y de encontrar si existía diferencia entre la calificación final de los estudiantes que habían finalizado todas las tareas que proponía el sistema experto y la de los que no la terminaron. Los resultados demostraron que el uso de un sistema experto y solucionador de problemas sí ayuda a mejorar el aprovechamiento de los estudiantes y que para ello debe ser necesario dar a éstos tiempo suficiente para que realicen todas las tareas.

  At the Faculty of Education an investigation involving 10 of the students from the B.A. in Education courses was carried out. The purposes of this research were: 1) to find out whether the use of an expert and problem solving system would allow students to improve their rate of achievement on the theme of "derivative", and 2) to learn whether there was a difference between the final grades of the students who had finished all tasks proposed by the expert system and those who did not finish them. results demonstrated that the use of an expert and problem solving system does help to improve the students rate of achievement and also showed that in order to accomplish that students ought to be given time enough to perform all the tasks.
