    En esta reseña de las implicaciones de la práctica docente, Cuéllar, describe la problemática sociocultural y sociopsicológica que involucra a los distintos fenómenos que se manifiestan tanto desde la perspectiva del estudiante como del docente. Asimismo, recomienda una serie de acciones para el docente que requiera de una mejor relación humana y académica con sus estudiantes, de tal manera que se obtengan actitudes de democracia y asertividad en el aula. También sugiere una profundización en la autocrítica y reflexión del docente, acerca de su interacción con los colegas, para la búsqueda de un estilo propio y aprendizaje colegiado. Finalmente, nos lega como mensaje el grado de influencia que tiene el maestro en la vida de cualquier individuo independientemente de las políticas educativas, estrategias tecnológicas y filosofías modernizadoras.

    It is in this outline of the implications in the teaching practice that Cuellar describes the sociocultural and sociopsychological problematic involved on the different phenomena which are shown both from student and teacher perspectives. Also, the author recommends a series of actions to the teacher who requires a better human and academic relationship with his/her students, so that acttitudes of democracy and assertivness are obtained in the classroom. In addition to the above, Cuellar suggests to delve deeply into the teacher's self-criticism and reflectiveness, as regards his/her interaction with colleagues, in the search of a style of his/her own and a collegiate learning. Finally, he leaves us as a message the degree of influence the teacher has in the life of any individual independently of the educational policies, technological strategies and modernizing philosophies.
