    La familia Molina ha estado presente en la vida de los vecinos de Villanueva, a saber, desde el siglo XVII. Aunque naturales de Blanca, siempre han guardado un fuerte vínculo con Villanueva, donde, con casa solariega y numerosas propiedades, han formado parte de su historia contribuyendo a ella de manera destacable. Más aún cuando, ya habiendo entroncado con los Portillo y llevando, pues, este apellido como principal, escriben una página honorable en la historia de la construcción (1882) y “reconstrucción” (1939) del patrimonio de la parroquia de Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción de esta villa. Hoy, 80 años más tarde del último gran gesto con Villanueva, ponemos nuevamente en valor el patrimonio que Villanueva posee dada su presencia en la misma, fruto de su amor por esta tierra.

    The Molina family has been present in Villanueva history since the 17th century. Although native to Blanca, they have always maintained a strong bond with Villanueva. They have numerous properties within them there is a manor house. The Molina family have been part of their history contributing to it in a remarkable way. Even more so when, having already joined with the Portillos and taking, therefore, this last name as their main one, they write an honorable page in the history of the construction (1882) and “reconstruction” (1939) of the heritage of the church of Our Lady of the Assumption of this town. Today, 80 years after the last great gesture with Villanueva, we once again value the heritage that Villanueva possesses given his presence in it, as a remarkable sign of their love for this land.
