    Este artículo contiene los resultados del análisis de los modelos de crianza empleados por los padres de familia en la educación de sus hijos. En este caso, los estudiantes de séptimo grado del colegio Metodista Libre del Distrito V de Managua. La importancia de este estudio es analizar el impacto que generan los modelos de crianza en el comportamiento de los adolescentes y cómo esto influye en la dinámica familiar. Por ello, se retoman factores del entorno donde los estudiantes interactúan: familia y escuela; como se sienten consigo mismo y como se relacionan con los individuos con quienes conviven. Esto permite identificar elementos de su formación en ambos contextos y como estos se manifi estan en su comportamiento. Uno de los campos de acción del Trabajo Social es la familia. Es fundamental intervenir en dichas situaciones, ya que constituye el primer grupo social con el que se tiene contacto como ser humano y es la primera escuela donde nos educamos para funcionar en la sociedad. La idea de investigación surge de la necesidad de estudiar problemas de comportamientos y para contribuir tanto a la familia como al centro educativo en la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias de atención a los adolescentes para el fortalecimiento de la relación familia-escuela.

    This article contains the results of analyzing parenting models used by the family in education of their children. In this case, it is referred to students of Seventh grade at Metodista Libre School in District V of Managua. The importance of this research is assess the impact that Parenting models have on the behavior of adolescents and how this infl uences in family dynamic. For this reason, the environment where students interact is retaken: family and school, how they feel about themselves and how they relate to the individuals with whom they live. This allows identifying elements of their education in both contexts and how these are manifested in their behavior. One of the field of action of Social Work is the family. It is essential to intervene on this kind of situations because family constitute the fi rst social group where human being came and the fi rst school where we educate to function in society. The researching idea came from the need to study behavior problems and to contribute both: to the families and to the school in fi nding new strategies of attention to adolescents to reinforce the family - school relationship
