Resumen de Textiles Andinos: trabajo y labores que resisten

  En la actualidad, los tejidos andinos nos siguen permitiendo adentrar al mundo simbólico de sus tejedores y con ello, a su producción. Podemos afirmar que la actividad textil es un trabajo cuya producción es duradera, aún cuando las prendas se desgasten, existen conocimientos y saberes transmitidos de una generación a otra que siguen permaneciendo. En la actualidad, la actividad textil es considerada poco productiva y de escasa valoración. Sus hacedores (tejedores/tejedoras) saben que su producción es única e irrepetible, de ahí su valoración intrínseca, además que, aunque sea vendida a muy bajo costo, su ganancia le permitirá subsistir. El problema radica en los consumidores, quienes desconocen o bien no quieren conocer el valor que implica esta actividad. Este texto intentará reflexionar sobre la complejidad que encierra el concepto de labor y trabajo en H. Arendt, vinculado a la labor textil. Y, por otro, analizar su resistencia, aún, cuando el proceso textil sufrió modificaciones a lo largo de un proceso histórico, donde cambiaron las materias primas, el proceso de tinción, la iconografía plasmada en los tejidos, los instrumentos textiles y las funciones, lo que permaneció inmune fueron sus técnicas.

  At present, the Andean fabrics continue to allow us to enter the symbolic world of their weavers and with it, their production. We can affirm that the textile activity is a work whose production is lasting, even when the garments wear out, there is knowledge and knowledge transmitted from one generation to another that continue to remain At present, the textile activity is considered as an unproductive and low value activity. Its makers (weavers / weavers) know that their production is unique and unrepeatable, hence their intrinsic valuation, and that, even if it is sold at a very low cost, its profit will allow it to survive. The problem lies in consumers, who do not know or do not want to know the value of this activity. This work will attempt to reflect on the complexity of the concept of labor and work in H. Arendt, linked to work or textile work. And on the other, to analyze its resistance, even when the textile process underwent modifications throughout a long historical process, where the raw materials, the dyeing process, the iconography embodied in the tissues, the textile instruments and the functions changed, that remained immune were his techniques.
