    El texto parte del interés de observar los rumbos que han tomado los estudios en torno al cuerpo en la historiografía reciente que lo hace su tema de estudio. El ensayo está dividido en tres apartados; en los dos primeros se intenta trazar un panorama general de los estudios históricos en torno al cuerpo, subrayando algunas tendencias y problemas. El tercero se enfoca en el caso del historiador Georges Vigarello, con el fin de aterrizar las observaciones de los primeros incisos.

    The text is based on the interest inobserving the directions taken by studies of the body in recent historiography, which makes it its subject of study. The essay is divided into three sections; the first two attempt to outline a general panorama of historical studies on the body, highlighting some trends and problems. The second focuses on the case of the historian Georges Vigarello, in order to ground the observations of the first sections.
