    El propósito de esta investigación es presentar la semblanza y el contexto histórico del autor; asimismo, un análisis historiográfico del libro en el que distinguiré cuándo y dónde se publicó, cómo lo estructuró Vargas Basurto, por qué, con qué estilo y con qué fuentes lo escribió. Además, incluiré una selección del contenido y una reflexión final, donde mencionaré las aportaciones del texto.

    The objective of this study is to present the semblance and historical context of the military doctor and historian Francisco Raúl Vargas Basurto; also, to carry out an analysis of the book he wrote to publicize its historiographical characteristics. In addition to raising what  the scope and impact were I will include a selection of the content and a final reflection where I will expose the most important contributions of the work.
