Macondo: el cosmos de Gabriel García Márquez

    Este trabajo realiza un acercamiento al cosmos que sostiene y contiene la obra con la que el Premio Nobel de Literatura, Gabriel García Márquez, (re)definió la estirpe latinoamericana: Macondo. Por medio del cuento “Monólogo de Isabel viendo llover en Macondo” se propone redescubrir la rocambolesca obra del autor y desentrañar el código oculto tras sus letras. Para tales fines, se utiliza el método análisis-síntesis, por medio del cual es posible descomponer el cuento para leerlo, conectarlo con la novela “Cien años de soledad” y, posteriormente, recomponerlo de forma novedosa. Finalmente, se esbozan algunas conclusiones sobre el cuento y se invita al lector a participar del realismo mágico que entraña.

    This work approaches the cosmos that sustains and contains the work with which the Nobel Prize in Literature, Gabriel García Márquez, (re)defined the Latin American lineage: Macondo. Through the story "Monólogo de Isabel viendo llover en Macondo" (Isabel's monologue while watching it rain in Macondo), the aim is to rediscover the author's bizarre work and unravel the code hidden behind its lyrics. For such purposes, the analysis-synthesis method is used, by means of which it is possible to decompose the story to read it, connect it with the novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and, subsequently, recompose it in a newly developed way. Finally, some conclusions about the story are sketched and the reader is invited to participate in the magical realism it entails.
