  El presente trabajo es un diálogo sobre la noción de amor, sobre sus características esenciales y sus efectos, entre lo que dice la música actual sobre el tema, y lo que la filosofía y teología clásica afirman sobre la materia. Se analizan aquí las letras de más de cien canciones de amor. En la primera parte del trabajo (capítulos 1 y 2) trata sobre la noción de amor y sus características principales. En la segunda parte (capítulo 3) sobre los efectos próximos, mediatos y posteriores ocasionados en la persona que ama.

  The present work is a dialogue about the notion of love, and about its essential characteristics and its effects, between what popular music says about this subject, and what classical philosophy and theology affirm on the matter. The lyrics of more than a hundred love songs are analyzed here. In the first part of the work (chapters 1 and 2) it deals with the notion of love and its main characteristics. In the second part (Chapter 3) about the proximate, mediate, and subsequent effects caused in the person who loves.
