Mentalidad actual y formación cristiana

    El artículo parte de la crisis de muchos aspectos de la cultura de esta época, sustentada en una mezcla de naturalismo y fideísmo. Se describe la falta de formación filosófica que se manifiesta en una debilidad del pensamiento, causada por la renuncia a la verdad, el olvido de su intemporalidad, el trueque de la verdad por sucedáneos útiles. Luego se analiza el débil estado actual de la fe. Se considera que la fe es la elevación del conocer personal, pero se ha sustituido el ser personal por el obrar humano y se ha olvidado la dimensión trascendente del ser humano.  Se plantea el crecimiento en saber personal, natural y sobrenatural, como una solución a esta crisis.

    This paper takes into account the crisis that today’s culture is suffering in many aspects, and which is grounded on a mixture of naturalism and fideism. It describes the lack of philosophical formation which promotes weak thinking and is caused by the surrendering of truth, the oblivion of truth’s timelessness, and the replacing of truth by useful substitutes. The weakness of faith in contemporary society is also analyzed. Faith is considered as the elevation of personal knowledge, but personal being has been substituted by human works and the transcendental dimension of man has been forgotten. Finally, the solution to the crisis is presented as the growth a knowledge that is personal, both natural and supernatural.
