    Para descubrir la influencia que ejercieron los artífices ecijanos, en la construcciónde bienes muebles e inmuebles, dentro de su área de influencia, hemos consultado elarchivo parroquial de la iglesia de San Pedro Apóstol de Peñaflor. Gracias a la investigaciónde las fuentes documentales conservadas, hemos detectado que no fue tanimportante, como se creía, la participación de grandes maestros en el edificio gótico-mudéjar y en el nuevo que se construyó tras ser derribado en 1779, así como en laiglesia del convento de San Luis del Monte. Los datos extraídos nos han permitidorealizar un escueto diccionario de maestros y artistas ecijanos, que tuvieron algún tipode intervención en estos templos a lo largo de su historia.

    In order to discover the influence exercised by the artisans from Ecija, in the constructionof movable and immovable property, within their area of influence, we haveconsulted the parish archive of the church of San Pedro Apóstol of Peñaflor. Thanksto the investigation of the preserved documentary sources, we have detected that theparticipation of great masters in the Gothic-Mudejar building and in the new one thatwas built after being demolished in 1779, as well as in the church of the convent of SanLuis del Monte, was not as important as was believed. They have allowed us to createa brief dictionary of teachers and artists from Ecija, who had some kind of interventionin those temples throughout its history.
