    La teoría queer ha proporcionado interesantes herramientas para pensar el sujeto más allá del modelo humanista tradicional, que le concede una soberanía absoluta. En los últimos años, los nuevos feminismos materialistas han problematizado aportaciones de la teoría queer, a la vez que han propuesto una manera postsoberana de pensar nuestras identidades. Consideramos estimulante realizar una labor de lectura difractiva: una metodología que sugiere leer estas teorías aparentemente divergentes prestando atención a los elementos que se entrelazan. Se acercan así los planteamientos de Judith Butler y de los New Feminist Materialisms, sobre todo de la mano de Karen Barad y Rosi Braidotti.

    Queer theory has provided interesting tools to think the subject beyond the traditional humanist model that gives it (le otorga, le concede) absolute sovereignty. In the last years, new feminist materialisms have problematized some contributions from queer theory, while they have proposed a post-sovereign manner to think our identities. It is considered stimulating to do a diffractive reading: a methodology that suggests reading these apparently divergent theories by taking into account their intertwining elements. Judith Butler's and new feminist materialism's approaches –mainly Karen Barad's and Rosi Braidotti's–, become thus interested in each other.
