  • Since the 1980s, Spanish society has been transformed as a result of the migratory phenomenon, which is characterised by cultural diversity. In today's world, citizens who move from one state to another demand respect for their cultural roots from the host state.

    In this article we will focus on the legal response of the Spanish legal system in relation to polygamous marriage. This institution is accepted in Islamic states, but some of its effects are accepted.
