  Este ensayo reflexiona sobre la posicionalidad del investigador entre la autoridad científica y el Estado ante la selección de un tema, en este caso, ante un proceso de investigación que pretende contribuir a la re-vitalización de la memoria histórica y bio-cultural del pueblo bokota. Presenta algunos antecedentes y cuestiona críticamente el proceso que conduce a la selección del tema de investigación, e intenta mostrar que el investigador escoge el tema, pero el tema también le elige, si se mantiene un cuestionamiento crítico permanente.

  This essay reflects on the positional position of the researcher between scientific authority and the State when selecting a topic; in this case, before a research process that aims to contribute to the re-vitalization of the historical and biocultural memory of the Bokota people. It presents some background and critically questions the selection of the research topic, and tries to show that the researcher chooses the subject, but the subject also chooses it, if a permanent critical questioning is maintained.
