Resumen de La cultura como factor de interés para el aprendizaje del francés como idioma extranjero

  En este artículo se presenta a la cultura francesa y su papel como factor de decisión para los estudiantes de la Alianza Francesa de Quito (AFQ) para elegir al idioma francés para el aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero y sobre todo para culminar sus estudios. Para esto, se ha determinado a la cultura desde su definición social y las diferentes formas de presentarlo al público objetivo, de igual forma el objeto de estudio ha sido escogido, debido a que la Alianza Francesa es un referente en la educación del idioma francés como lengua extranjera en Ecuador. Se realizó un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo para observar la importancia que le dan los estudiantes y directorio de la Alianza Francesa de Quito a la promulgación de la cultura dentro y fuera de las aulas. La investigación va dirigida a determinar la imagen de la institución que se ha generado junto a la utilización de la cultura francófona dentro del público objetivo estudiado, es decir, estudiantes de la Alianza Francesa de Quito. De esta forma se pretende determinar el nivel de influencia de la cultura para el aprendizaje del francés dentro de la institución, junto a las distintas actividades y eventos culturales que en la Alianza Francesa de Quito se realizan.

  This article presents the French culture and its role as a decision factor for the students of the French Alliance of Quito (AFQ) to choose the French language for learning a foreign language and above all to complete their studies. For this, the culture has been determined from its social definition and the different ways of presenting it to the target audience, in the same way the object of study has been chosen, because the French Alliance is a reference in the education of the French language as foreign language in Ecuador. A qualitative and quantitative analysis was made to observe the importance that the students and board of the Alianza Francesa de Quito give to the promulgation of culture inside and outside the classroom. The research is aimed at determining the image of the institution that has been generated together with the use of the French-speaking culture within the target audience studied, that is, students of the French Alliance of Quito. In this way, it is intended to determine the level of influence of culture for the learning of French within the institution, together with the different cultural activities and events that take place in the French Alliance of Quito.
