Las afirmaciones metalingüísticas de los espectadores se refieren, por un lado, al alto nivel conceptual de la reflexión lingüística de la época, pero, por otro lado, también tienen como objetivo mejorar el lenguaje y su uso por parte del público. Particularmente impor-tante es la crítica al uso de la terminología que ha sido interpretada como un indicador de pensamiento erróneo o problemático. Las correcciones no solo deben mejorar el uso del lenguaje, sino también conducir a que los oradores tengan pensamientos y conclusiones correctas.

The metalinguistic statements of the spectators refer, on the one hand, to the high con-ceptual level of the linguistic reflection of the time, but, on the other hand, they also aim to improve the language and its use by the audience. The criticism of the use of terminology that has been interpreted as an indicator of erroneous or problematic thinking is particu-larly important. Corrections should not only improve the use of language, but also lead to correct thinking and conclusions by the speakers.
