Resumen de El rol de las TIC en las clases de inglés en el curso por encuentros

  Al ser el idioma inglés y la tecnología actualmente dos de los aspectos de mayor relevancia ligado al desarrollo intelectual humano, es inevitable que estos se vean involucrados en la esfera educativa moderna de tal manera que deben considerarse como procesos inherentes a la educación superior actual. Este trabajo persigue destacar la importancia del uso de la tecnología en el contexto específico de las clases de idioma inglés en la modalidad de curso por encuentros en la Universidad de Moa y la correlación que existe entre el uso de dicha tecnología y el conocimiento del idioma inglés en la investigación científica en beneficio a la sociedad. Consiguientemente, destaca la necesidad de perfeccionar el proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje de la clase encuentro de manera tal que el uso y enseñanza del inglés y las TIC respondan a las necesidades que enfrenta el estudiante durante la carrera y en su futuro desempeño profesional.

  Since English and technology are currently two of the most relevant aspects linked to human intellectual development, it is inevitable to get them involved in the modern educational sphere in such a way that they should be considered as processes inherent in current higher education. This paper seeks to highlight the importance of the use of technology in thespecific context of English language classes in the encounter courses modality at the University of Moa, as well as the correlation between the use of said technology and knowledge of the English language in scientific research for the benefit of society.Consequently, the need to improve the teaching-learning process of the encounter class is demonstrated in such a way that the use and teaching of ICT and English respond both to the needs faced by the student during the major and those that might arise in his future career.
