In the current educational context, it is relevant to develop critical thinking in students, however, little is analyzed about the knowledge that teachers must have to promote it and, especially, how they will achieve professional training considering the starting point of each teacher. In this paper we describe the development of a reflective professional who wants to learn to develop critical thinking in their students, through the implementation of two stages of reflection and later describe the learningacquired by the teacher. Using a biographical-narrative approach, the teacher analyzes her practice and identifies three elements that she can learn about: question generation, contact with living beings, and experimentation.
