Resumen de Pensamento e ação: caminhos de uma pesquisa em sociolinguística educacional em uma escola pública de Ceilândia - DF

  This work represents the depiction of a study developed in the field of language, with focus on linguistic variation, performed at the University of Brasília’s (UnB) Master Degree in Linguistics and it aims the paths taken during the research process. Thus, we will present the techniques adopted in the generation of data, the interaction with the collaborators, the concerns and difficulties inherent to any and all research, as well as the results and impressions acquired during the research. This study took place in a public school at Ceilândia - DF, in 2019, and had 35 high school seniors and their Portuguese teacher as collaborators. It presents Sociolinguistics as a guiding theoretical axis, especially in its educational aspect, based on the works of Bagno (2008), Bortoni-Ricardo (2005), Travaglia (2008), among others. The results reveal that students have knowledge about linguistic variation, however, some have presented intolerant behaviors with different dialects from their own. The teacher worked sporadically on the theme of linguistic variation, but he was only concerned with transmitting notions of linguistic adequacy. This theme is treated timidly by the authors of the textbook used at school.

  Este trabalho retrata o recorte de uma pesquisa desenvolvida na área de linguagem, com foco para a variação linguística, realizada no mestrado acadêmico em Linguística na Universidade de Brasília (UnB) e tem como objetivo mostrar os caminhos percorridos durante o processo da pesquisa. Assim, apresentaremos o percurso trilhado no que tange às técnicas adotadas para a geração dos dados, ao convívio com os colaboradores, às inquietações e às dificuldades inerentes a toda e qualquer pesquisa, bem como aos resultados e às impressões adquiridas ao longo da pesquisa. A pesquisa aconteceu em uma escola pública de Ceilândia – DF, em 2019, e teve como colaboradores 35 estudantes do 3º ano do ensino Médio e o professor de Língua Portuguesa da turma pesquisada. Apresenta como eixo teórico norteador a Sociolinguística, sobretudo em sua vertente educacional, fundamentando-se nos trabalhos de Bagno (2008), Bortoni-Ricardo (2005), Travaglia (2008), entre outros. Os resultados revelam que os alunos têm conhecimentos sobre a variação linguística, no entanto, alguns apresentam comportamentos intolerantes com dialetos distintos dos seus. O professor trabalha esporadicamente a temática da variação linguística, mas preocupa-se em transmitir noções de adequabilidade linguística aos discentes. Essa temática é tratada timidamente pelos autores do livro didático utilizado na escola.
