  • Sesonchosis is one of the most important representatives of the prose fiction genre. The protagonist is the legendary Pharaoh Sesonchosis of the Twelfth Dynasty. The remains of the original text of this lost novel comprise five papyri. I offer a proposal for the plot of the first part of the work.
