Resumen de Tradiciones y rasgos distintivos de los inmigrantes haitianos que incidieron en la formación identitaria del guantanamero

  Investigar un hecho cultural relacionado con las tradiciones culturales de origen haitiano en la comunidad Argeo Martínez, se enmarca en el estudio de la identidad pues constituye una manifestación de la cultura popular tradicional de la cual son portadores sus descendientes, teniendo como marco la reflexión de procesos sociales complejos que se manifiestan en la realidad social cubana de hoy.

  El aporte de los inmigrantes haitianos y otras etnias a la integral formación de la identidad cultural guantanamera se manifestó con mayor fuerza desde su llegada e inserción a las comunidades donde se asentaron.

  Las tradiciones haitianas en otras épocas gozaron de gran popularidad entre los habitantes de los diferentes asentamientos donde se ubicaron, siendo parte de la memoria histórica y el universo cultural de la localidad. Los métodos que se utilizaron para cumplir el objetivo en esta investigación se relacionan con la revisión bibliográfica en torno a la migración haitiana y su influencia en la cultura cubana, el proceso migratorio haitiano hacia la región guantanamera.

  Este estudio permitió conocer cómo esas comunidades conservan una riqueza sobre la cultura de los inmigrantes asentados en esta región. Esto se expresa en las diferentes manifestaciones culturales.

  La importancia de este trabajo nos permite conocer cuáles son las tradiciones, costumbres y asuntos de la vida de los nativos y descendientes de origen haitiano, las que inciden en su formación identitaria para dar continuidad a su permanencia y a la vez constituyen un camino hacia nuevas investigaciones.

  Investigating a cultural event related to the cultural traditions origin at the beg century, in the Argeo Martínez community, is part of the study of identity as it constitutes a manifestation of the traditional popular culture of which its descendants are carriers, having as a frame the reflection of complex social processes that are manifested in the Cuban social reality of today.

  The contribution of Haitian immigrants and other ethnic groups to the integral formation of the Guantanamera cultural identity manifested itself with greater force since their arrival and insertion in the communities where they settled.

  The Haitian traditions in other times enjoyed great popularity among the inhabitants of the different settlements where they were located, being part of the historical memory and the cultural universe of the locality. The methods used to fulfill the objective in this investigation are related to the literature review on Haitian migration and its influence on Cuban culture, the Haitian migration process towards the Guantanamo region.

  This study allowed to know how these communities conserve a wealth of culture of immigrants settled in this region. This is expressed in the different cultural manifestations.

  The importance of this work allows us to know what are the traditions, customs and issues of the lives of natives and descendants of Haitian origin, which affect their identity formation to give continuity to their permanence and at the same time constitutes a path towards new research .
