    El presente artículo revisa el contexto de incidencia de la Peste Negra en el reino de Galicia tomando un indicador no explorado hasta ahora: la cuantificación en la producción de documentos por parte de las principales instituciones eclesiásticas del territorio, entre 1345 y 1353. Con ella ofreceremos diversas gráficas en organización de los datos, así como algunas líneas interpretativas posibles, desde la constatación de que en efecto la llegada de la pestilencia afecta a la producción documental, que se ve disminuida en 1348, pero igualmente de que en ningún momento se retrae por completo la vida institucional, sino que reconduce la tendencia hacia un decrecimiento sostenido pero suave.

    This article reviews the context of the incidence of the Black Death in the kingdom of Galicia taking an indicator not explored until now: the quantification of the production of documents by the main ecclesiastical institutions of the territory, between 1345 and 1353. With it we will offer various graphs in organization of the data, as well as some possible lines of interpretation, verifying that effec-tively the arrival of the pestilence affects the documentary production, which is diminished in 1348, but also that at no time institutional life is retracted by complete but redirects the trend towards a sustained but softer decrease.
