  "Cheíta" Quintana fue ­ y seguirá siendo ­ una de las voces líricas más reconocidas y emblemáticas de la escena musical venezolana. Si bien su ámbito fue nacional, hizo suyo, con interés denodado, su terruño, el estado Lara, Venezuela, dedicando a él la totalidad de su vida, convirtiéndose en la voz femenina identificativa. No sólo el canto como desempeño, sino además la educación, fueron los ejes de su desarrollo profesional, dejando una profunda huella en la región.

  "Cheíta" Quintana was ­ and will continue to be ­ one of the most recognised and emblematic lyrical voices on the Venezuelan musical scene. Although her sphere of influence was national, she made her homeland her own, Lara state, Venezuela, to which she dedicated her whole life, becoming the identifying female voice. Not only singing, but also education, were the axes of her professional development, leaving a deep mark in the region.
