  • With the aim of studying the past tectonic evolution of sea and coastline levels, samples were taken in Zabaletxe, in the area studied previously. The samples revealed past accumulations of sand on the shore platform, and we attempted to determine when this occurred, using new methods not employed to date. Although not all the results have yet been obtained and the samples are still being processed, everything indicates that the oldest sediments pre-date MIS7
