Resumen de Hotéis como espaço de memória no desenvolvimento local: estudo de caso nos meios de hospedagem de Foz do Iguaçu

  All space has a history to transmit, is a record for memory and can be linked to subjects and events. A city presents itself as a physical space, a place that must preserve its history through the memory of its society. Today we see the importance of cultural tourism as a factor for local and regional sustainable development. This article aims to recognize the means of hosting as memory space in the development of Foz do Iguaçu. Seeking to strengthen in the perception of citizens the sense of belonging in the history of the Trinational region. In this sense, the concepts of means of lodging, cultural tourism, space of memory, local development, Foz do Iguaçu and Tríplice Fronteira are addressed. During the research few works were found that explore the meansof hosting from the perspective of memory. It is a descriptive research, the methodology used as to the approach was qualitative, the study had an exploratory character, the collection of data was by way of bibliographic review, documentary and research in onlinedatabases. The reason for approaching this subject was the participation, as a special student, in the discipline Memory, Identity and Cultural Heritage: Dialogs and Borders -of the postgraduate program: Culture and Borders Society. At the end ofthe article, one sees in the means of accommodation an important space of memory to maintain the cultural heritage of local and regional history, mainly by identifying that the history and development of Foz do Iguaçu and the Triple Frontier is rooted with tourism.

  Todo o espaço tem uma história para transmitir, é um registro para a memória e pode ser vinculado a sujeitos e acontecimentos. Uma cidade se apresenta como um espaço físico, um lugar que deve preservar sua história através da memória de sua sociedade. Atualmente vê-se a importância do turismo cultural como fator de desenvolvimento sustentável local e regional. Este artigo tem como objetivo reconhecer os meios de hospedagem como espaço de memória no desenvolvimento de Foz do Iguaçu. Procurando reforçar na percepção dos cidadãos o sentimento de pertencimento na história da região Trinacional. Nesse sentido abordam-se os conceitos de meio de hospedagem, turismo cultural, espaço de memória, desenvolvimento local, Foz do Iguaçu e Tríplice Fronteira. Durante as pesquisas foram encontrados poucos trabalhos que exploram os meios de hospedagem na perspectiva da memória. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, a metodologia utilizada quanto à abordagem foi qualitativa, o estudo teve carácter exploratório, a coleta de dados foi por meio de revisão bibliográfica, documental e de pesquisa em bancos de dados online. O motivo de abordar este assunto foi a participação, como aluna especial, na disciplina Memória, Identidade e Patrimônio Cultural: diálogos e fronteiras - do programa de pós-graduação: Sociedade Cultura e Fronteiras. Na finalização do artigo, percebe-se nos meios de hospedagem um importante espaço de memória para manter o patrimônio cultural da história local e regional, principalmente ao identificar que a história e o desenvolvimento de Foz do Iguaçu e da Tríplice Fronteira estar enraizado com o turismo.
