  Cádiz es una pequeña ciudad situada en el sur de Andalucía (España), en ella habitan en torno a unos 113.000 habitantes. La mayoría de ellos residen en pisos o apartamentos de la ciudad gaditana pues, apenas hay chalets ni viviendas unifamiliares. El problema está en el elevado coste que existe actualmente en la capital, los precios desorbitados de los alquileres hacen que numerosas familias no se los puedan permitir. Además, ya no es solo una cuestión propia de los residentes, sino que influyen las condiciones de los propietarios de las viviendas en alquiler. Con el aumento de los turistas estos últimos años, que colocan a Cádiz como uno de los principales destinos favoritos de los viajeros, los arrendadores se ven obligados a subir el precio para ganarse un mayor beneficio. Esta cuestión perjudica claramente a los gaditanos al tener que dejar sus viviendas para que habiten en ella durante la temporada de verano los viajeros.

  Cádiz is a small city located in the south of Andalusia (Spain), inhabited by around 113,000 inhabitants. Most of them reside in flats or apartments in the city of Cádiz, since there are hardly any chalets or single-family homes. The problem is the high cost that currently exists in the capital, the exorbitant rental prices mean that many families cannot afford them. In addition, it is no longer just a matter of the residents, but the conditions of the owners of the rental homes have an influence. With the increase in tourists in recent years, which place Cádiz as one of the main favorite destinations for travelers, landlords are forced to raise the price to earn a greater profit. This issue clearly harms the people of Cádiz by having to leave their homes for travelers to live in during the summer season.
