Resumen de Trabajo social en salud: funciones y protocolos de atención a usuarios en los servicios hospitalarios

  El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el Trabajo Social en el área de salud, las funciones y protocolos de atención a usuarios en los servicios hospitalarios. Para ello se utilizó una metodología de tipo descriptiva-exploratoria, basándose en el método bibliográfico, obteniendo información de páginas web, tesis, artículos y libros; así mismo se aplicó el método lógico científico: inductivo-deductivo con enfoque cualitativo.

  Los procesos que se siguen en los centros hospitalarios demandan de una serie de acciones que realiza el profesional en Trabaja Social, dependerá de la institución y del Estado en que se encuentre el usuario, realizando valoración con diferentes formularios los cuales permitirán complementar el bienestar biopsicosocial. En campo de la salud, el trabajador social diagnostica e interviene de forma amplia partiendo desde el individuo hasta grupos con el fin de abarcar aquellas problemáticas que pueden guardar relación con el proceso salud-enfermedad.

  El trabajador social en salud es el profesional del equipo multidisciplinar que conoce las carencias y necesidades sociales que inciden en el proceso salud-enfermedad, identifica las redes familiares y sociales, en el que promueve la utilización de los recursos disponibles, a través de funciones de investigación, planificación y programación, educación social, promoción, prevención, asesoría social y gestión de recursos sociales y/o sanitarios, orientadas a la recuperación de la salud y a la participación de individuos.

  The objective of this study was to analyze Social Work in the area of health, functions and protocols for user care in hospital services. For this, a descriptive-exploratory methodology was used, based on the bibliographic method, obtaining information from web pages, theses, articles and books; The scientific logical method was also applied: inductive-deductive with a qualitative approach.

  The processes that are followed in the hospital centers demand a series of actions carried out by the professional in Social Work, it will depend on the institution and the state in which the user is, making valuation with different forms which will complement the biopsychosocial well-being. In the field of health, the social worker diagnoses and intervenes broadly, starting from the individual to groups in order to cover those problems that may be related to the health-disease process.

  The social health worker is the professional of the multidisciplinary team that knows the social needs and deficiencies that affect the health-disease process, identifies family and social networks, in which it promotes the use of available resources, through the functions of research, planning and programming, social education, promotion, prevention, social counseling and management of social and / or health resources, aimed at the recovery of health and the participation of individuals
