    A nivel universitario, la educación digital, cada día gana más y más terreno. Por tanto, el empleo de la tecnología en la educación ya no es una opción, en estos momentos es un recurso de primer orden necesario para innovar. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir el ChatGPT como recurso viable para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en estudiantes universitarios. Refiere, a una investigación descriptiva de tipo documental con diseño bibliográfico. Como conclusión, se precisa resaltar que todo elemento creado que pueda contribuir para el desarrollo integral del hombre será siempre un recurso válido, por tanto, el ChatGPT como herramienta tecnológica e innovadora cala perfectamente como un recurso innovador, para que el hombre mejore y potencie su modo de pensar de forma crítica y analítica, esto siempre y cuando sepa emplearlo de manera ética y moral en sociedad.

    At the university level, digital education is gaining more and more ground every day. Therefore, the use of technology in education is no longer an option, at this time it is a first-order resource necessary to innovate. The present research aimed to describe ChatGPT as a viable resource for the development of critical thinking in university students. It refers to a descriptive research of documentary type with bibliographic design. As a conclusion, it is necessary to highlight that any element created that can contribute to the integral development of man will always be a valid resource, therefore, ChatGPT as a technological and innovative tool fits perfectly as an innovative resource, so that man improves and enhances his way of thinking critically and analytically, as long as he knows how to use it ethically and morally in society.
