Resumen de Percepción y conocimiento de la educación artística de los maestros y estudiantes de centro de modalidad general y en artes, año escolar 2016-2017

El presente estudio comparativo tiene como propósito conocer la percepción y el conocimiento que tienen los maestros y estudiantes respecto a la asignatura de Educación Artística. Para el mismo se seleccionaronocho centros educativos del sector público (cuatro de la modalidad general y cuatro de la modalidad en artes) para una muestra de 80 estudiantes y 10 maestros. Este estudio es cuantitativo de corte transversaldonde los instrumentos que se aplicaron fueron la encuesta y el cuestionario. Los resultados presentanque los maestros en ambas modalidades muestran debilidad en cuanto al nivel de conocimiento sobrelos contenidos establecidos por el diseño curricular y por ende los estudiantes reflejan niveles bajos deconocimiento sobre la Educación Artística a pesar de que los alumnos muestran una favorable percepción hacia su maestro y la asignatura.

The present comparative study has as purpose to know the perception and knowledge that teachers and students have about the Artistic Education, where eight public schools were selected (four of the general modality and four of modality in arts) For a sample of 80 students and 10 teachers. This study is quantitative cross-section where the instruments that were applied were the survey and the questionnaire. The results show that teachers in both modalities in the level of knowledge about the contents established by the curricular design are very low, therefore, the students reflect low levels of knowledge on the artistic education, although the students show a favorable perception towards their teacher and the artistic education.
