    En el presente artículo nuestra intención es la de discutir el concepto de presencia, tal como es entendido por Jean-Luc Nancy. Nuestro campo de interés es el campo de la estética, siendo nuestra hipótesis la posibilidad de considerar la presencia como la idea central de la experiencia del arte, y por ello irreducible a las aproximaciones teóricas. Con este fin, comenzaremos por definir algunos aspectos claves sobre dicha noción de presencia; tras esto, ayudados por textos de Nancy sobre la materia, veremos cómo esta experiencia puede ser resistente de un modo efectivo a los esfuerzos interpretativos y las consecuencias sobre el sujeto y su relación con el arte.

    In the present article we aim to discuss the concept of presence, as it is understood by Jean-Luc Nancy. Our focus the field of aesthetics, and our hypothesis is the possibility of considering presence as an idea at the core of the experience of art, therefore irreducible to a theoretical approach. In order to do this, we will begin by defining some key questions about the notion of presence; after this, helped by some of Nancy’s texts on the subject, we will see how this experience can be effectively resistant to interpretative efforts and its consequence on the subject and his relation with art.
