  El artículo presenta el substrato teórico de una investigación-acción realizada por el Programa de Recepción Activa de CENECA y que se plantea como objeto de estudio: el encuentro de dos sistemas, la Escuela y la TV, teniendo como referente el Currículum Escolar en susámbitos de lo cultural y lo educativo. Como hipótesis de trabajo, se sostiene que, en el mundo educacional, especialmente en los profesores, se ha ido reconociendo de manera progresiva el potencial de la recepción televisiva (broadcasting) y su aplicación en el currículum, con un rol que va más allá de la didáctica y cuyo alcance extra curricular es culturalmente enriquecedor.

  The article presents a theoretical substratum of an action-research carried out by the Active Receipt Program of CENECA. The encounter of two systems, the School and the TV, is outlined as object of study, having as frame of reference the School Curriculum in its cultural and educational areas.  Work hypothesis states that, in the educational world, especially among teachers, the potential of T.V. receipt (broadcasting) and his application in the curriculum has been progressively recognized with a role that is going beyond the didactic, and whose extracurricular scope is culturally enriching.
