Esta comunicación brinda la ocasión para analizar la concepción de vida en la obra de Nietzsche. Su afirmación del valor del presente que llevó a cabo en la segunda de las Consideraciones Intempestivas Sobre la utilidad y el perjuicio de la Historia para la vida de 1874 inaugura una nueva propuesta filosófica para el futuro; sin embargo, el significado de esta afirmación permanece como una cuestión aún abierta. Abordaremos el valor de la vida, por medio del minucioso diagnóstico cultural que Nietzsche llevó a cabo con su época, desde los diversos sentidos que este concepto presenta: metafísica, ética, política, estética y científica. Contra el historicismo del presente, Nietzsche no puede más que afirmar el valor de la vida.

This exposition gives us the opportunity to analyze the concept of life in Nietzsche’s work. His affirmation about the value of the present, in the second of the Inconvenient Considerations The Use and Abuse of History for Life in 1874, starts a new philosophical proposal for the future. However, the meaning of this statement is still an open question. We will state the value of life through the meticulous cultural diagnosis that Nietzsche carried out in his time, considering the different aspects of this concept: metaphysical, ethical, political, aesthetic and scientific. Against the present historicism, Nietzsche can only affirm the value of life.
