Hegel es uno de los primeros en reflexionar sobre el giro subjetivo de la Edad Moderna. Ligado a esto estaría su interpretación del escepticismo y la ironía. Para éste tanto el irónico como el escéptico adoptarían una actitud de libertad absoluta respecto del objeto, mediante una negatividad puramente formal, unilaterales pues frente a la aspiración hegeliana de unificar espíritu subjetivo y objetivo Aquí trataremos, sin embargo de cuestionar la pertinencia de tal análisis, mostrando su carácter reductivo.

Hegel is one of the first thinkers who talk about the subjective turn in Modernity. His remarks about scepticism and irony are linked to this. For Hegel both the ironical and the sceptical subject take an absolutely free attitude towards the object, they deny only formally the substantial questions of their subject and Hegel thinks that it is an unilateral movement in contrast with his search of subjective and objective unity. Here we challenge the adequacy of Hegel´s analysis, showing his reductive dimension.
