Resumen de Política de la posmemoria en la narrativa chilena

  Este análisis se centra en novelas de la posmemoria, de autores y autoras chilenos, nacidos entre 1967 y 1983, adscritas a tres modulaciones: posmemoria de la confrontación, de la recomposición y de la conformidad. Estas subcategorías de la posmemoria, implican la necesidad de asumir que la violencia vivida en el país, intervino materialmente y simbólicamente en la estructura familiar. Sin embargo, también permiten considerar que nos encontramos ante un tipo de narrativa que privilegia a un sujeto burgués, desarticulado colectivamente, que rechaza la estructura familiar no conservadora. Respecto a la noción de memoria, esta aparece como una carga de la que incluso, sería deseable desentenderse. Por lo mismo, hay un deseo manifiesto de cortar con todo referente ya que en su presente/adulto, el referente opera como reactualización del dolor. Estas narrativas, presentan, finalmente, un sujeto sin utopías, esperanzas, deseos de cambio, de relectura de la historia política del país, orientándose al olvido, la entronización del individualismo, la anulación del contexto social, y la autonomía de la subjetividad, inscribiéndose así, en lo que puedo denominar literatura de signo neoliberal, donde además destaca, la ausencia de todo deseo de reparación.

  This analysis focuses on postmemory novels, by Chilean authors born between 1967 and 1983, ascribed to three modulations: postmemory of confrontation, recomposition and conformity. These subcategories of postmemory imply the need to assume that the violence experienced in the country intervened materially and symbolically in the family structure. However, they also allow us to consider that we are facing a type of narrative that privileges a bourgeois subject, collectively disjointed, that rejects the non-conservative family structure. Regarding the notion of memory, it appears as a burden that would even be desirable to ignore. For this reason, there is a clear desire to cut with all referents since in their present/adult the referent operates as a restatement of pain. These narratives present, lastly, a subject without utopias, hopes, desires for change or for rereading the political history of the country. They are oriented to oblivion, the enthronement of individualism, the annulment of the social context, focused on the autonomy of the subjectivity, thus registering in what I can call neoliberal literature, which also highlights the absence of any desire for reparation.
