«Palmas y guitarra»: fusión física y espiritual de Vallejo y Georgette

    César Vallejo es el vate universal más importante que ha producido el Perú y su obra es reconocida por su calidad y su originalidad literaria. Este trabajo tendrá dos apartados: el primero, «Georgette y Vallejo, almas inseparables», donde expondré indicios de que Georgette y Vallejo fueron almas gemelas destinadas a vivir juntas. Ellos crearon un «nosotros» conformado con ingredientes de lealtad y compromiso. Fue un amor no solo vinculado con lo físico y lo sexual, sino que ambos llegaron a formar una unidad de cuerpo y alma total como pareja. Mientras que, en el segundo, «Palmas y guitarra: unión de Georgette y Vallejo», haré un análisis detallado del poema «Palmas y guitarra», que el vate universal dedicó a Georgette. En estos versos queda registrada la unión total de Georgette y Vallejo, dejando su amor y su identificación total con el ser amado en los versos y las imágenes que se proyectan en el poema. El hablante lírico vallejiano no solo reclama el cuerpo de la amada, sino que exige su parte abstracta, que tiene la capacidad de sentir, amar y pensar. Es la parte inmortal y espiritual de la mujer que representa su totalidad. La voz lírica busca esa esencia que hace que fluya el verdadero amor.

    César Vallejo is the most important universal bard that Peru has produced and his work is recognized for its quality and literary originality. This work will have two sections: the first one, «Georgette y Vallejo, almas inseparables», where I will expose indications that Georgette and Vallejo were soul mates destined to live together. They created a «we» shaped with ingredients of loyalty and commitment. It was a love not only linked to the physical and sexual, but both came to form a total unity of body and soul as a couple. While, in the second, «Palmas y guitarra: unión de Georgette y Vallejo», I will make a detailed analysis of the poem «Palmas y guitarra», which the universal bard dedicated to Georgette. In these verses is registered the total union of Georgette and Vallejo, leaving his love and his total identification with the loved one in the verses and images projected in the poem. Vallejo’s lyrical speaker not only claims the body of the beloved, but also demands her abstract part, which has the capacity to feel, love and think. It is the immortal and spiritual part of the woman that represents her totality. The lyrical voice searches for that essence that makes true love flow.
