    ¿Cómo pensar las relaciones entre estética y política? Si el arte es lo que resiste, y lo que resiste en primer lugar a la muerte, ¿ cómo se relaciona la resistencia de la obra de arte y las luchas colectivas y situadas por la emancipación, por el abandono de la condición de minoría política? ¿En qué sentido la creación puede ser asunto de todos y sin embargo no reducirse a alguna forma de banalidad anestética? Y más concretamente, ¿en qué condiciones de inteligibilidad las prácticas del arte pueden problematizar los repartos sensibles entre la vida desnuda y la vida cualificada? Este ensayo, que investiga el sentido del sintagma «vida del arte» no trata tanto de responder a estas preguntas como de compartir algunas hipótesis que se enmarcan en esta problemática y que no balizan más que una etapa en un trabajo a largo plazo.

    How to think the relationship between aesthetics and politics? If the aim of art is to resist, and first to resist to death, what is the relationship between the resistance of the work of art and the collective and local struggles for emancipation, for the liberation of the condition of political minority? In what sense can creation be everyone’s business, without reducing itself to some form of anaesthetic banality? And more precisely, under what conditions of understanding are the art practices able to problematize the sensible divisions between bare life and qualified life? The purpose of this essay, which investigates the sense of the syntagm «life of art», is not so much to answer these questions but to share some hypotheses concerning them, marking one provisional stage in a long term research.
