Cultura de paz: una paradoja egoísta

    En el presente texto se propone un acercamiento individualista y egoísta hacia una verdaderacultura de paz. Partiendo de un inicial enfoque en nosotros mismos, incluso si tenemos queignorar las necesidades de otras personas, se argumenta que esto puede llevar a un auténticoentendimiento de nuestros propios sentimientos y pensamientos, así como de la verdaderanaturaleza de la realidad. Entonces, utilizando este entendimiento se puede pasar a un segundomovimiento donde se ayudar a los otros y hacer un verdadero cambio hacia un mundo máspacífico. Este acercamiento se derivará de dos ejemplos, por un lado, las enseñanzas del caminodel Bodhisattva y por el otro a partir de las ideas del filósofo Friedrich Nietzsche.

    In the present text an individualistic and selfish approach is proposed towards a true culture ofpeace. Starting from an initial focus on ourselves, even if we have to ignore the needs of otherpeople, it is argued that this can lead to a true understanding of our own feelings and thoughts aswell as the true nature of reality. Then, using this understanding, one can move on to a secondeffort where you help others and make a real change towards a more peaceful world. Thisapproach will be derived from two examples, on the one hand the teachings of the Bodhisattvapath and on the other from the ideas of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
