The progressive affirmation of female leadership in Jewish communities has helped to overcome some prejudices of the past that did not allow women to actively participate in social and community life. Above all, access to religious studies has fostered a change, perceptible at various levels, which is transforming communities, making them more democratic, open and inclusive. Despite the persistence of some problems, female leadership is a growing phenomenon destined to give a new face to the various currents of Judaism.
