Empreendedorismo e Secretariado Executivo: Um estudo de caso da abertura de um empreendimento por uma graduanda em Secretariado Executivo da Universidade do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE)

      There are several possibilities for starting a business and the Executive Secretariat undergraduate course may encourage this process by its curriculum, which assists the academics to comprehend the process of entrepreneurship, covering the aspects for the elaboration of the business plan, in addition to working with contents directed to business management. Therefore, the main objective of the paper is: Describe the process of entrepreneurship from the identification of the opportunity to the exploration of the opportunity by an undergraduate student of Executive Secretariat by the State University of West of Paraná (UNIOESTE). Within the main objective of the study, are: (1) Introduce the professional profile of the executive secretariat; (2) Analyze the steps of the identification and exploration of the opportunity proposed by Baron e Shane (2011). In methodological terms, the present research is a qualitative case study. The databases were collected by means of an interview with an executive secretary who, at the time of starting her business was undergraduate student and currently administers their own business. The research’s results showed that high graduation contributes with the entrepreneurial profile development of the interviewed as well as with to start the enterprise.

      Várias são as possibilidades para a abertura de um empreendimento e o curso de Secretariado Executivo pode fomentar esse processo, por meio da sua grade curricular que auxilia os estudantes na compreensão do processo empreendedor, abrangendo aspectos para a elaboração do plano de negócios, além de trabalhar conteúdos direcionados a gestão de negócios. Sendo assim, o objetivo central do artigo é: Descrever o processo empreendedor, desde a identificação da oportunidade empreendedora até a exploração dessa oportunidade, por uma graduanda em Secretariado Executivo da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE). Entre os objetivos específicos da pesquisa, estão: (1) apresentar o perfil do profissional de secretariado executivo, e (2) analisar as etapas de identificação e exploração da oportunidade empreendedora propostas por Baron e Shane (2011). Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso qualitativo. Os dados foram coletados por meio de uma entrevista realizada com uma secretária executiva que à época da abertura de seu empreendimento era graduanda em Secretariado Executivo pela UNIOESTE e atualmente administra o seu próprio negócio.  Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que o curso contribuiu para a formação do perfil empreendedor da participante e para a abertura do empreendimento.
