Este trabajo presenta la transcripción de un documento inédito de singular importancia para los estudios fronterizos coloniales en Chile. Se trata del testimonio más temprano de las Paces de Quillín de 1641. La importancia del texto reside en la divergencia de algunos de sus contenidos respecto al relato de Diego de Rosales, cuyo Flandes Indiano ha sido hasta ahora la fuente más utilizada por historiadores, etnohistoriadores y antropólogos al momento de reconstruir las vicisitudes de este evento de nuestra historia.

This work presents the transcription of an unpublished document of singular importance for colonial borderlands studies in Chile. It is the earliest testimony of the Quillín Peace Conference of 1641. The importance of the text lies on the divergence of some of its contents with respect to the story by Diego de Rosales, whose Flandes Indiano has so far been the source most used by historians, ethnohistorians and anthropologists when reconstructing the vicissitudes of this event in our history.
