Simple linear regression (SLR) is a prediction technique used in investi-gations in which they stand out in a quantitative way. This technique lies many years of existence and therefore there is a criticism that its effectiveness is not the most appropriate to obtain results due to its age and obsolescence. However, there is a counterpart that states that the SLR works effectively and that if it has been a technique with so much time of use it is due to the precise results that it can give. For this reason, it is hi-ghlighted that for this study the SLR is analyzed and the prediction that it can give in research and studies in the area of economic-administrative sciences, as well as the relevance of its use.
