    Si bien Xi Jinping se ha convertido en uno de los líderes más poderosos de la República Popular China, para analizar y entender las dinámicas internas del gigante asiático es preciso tener en cuenta la existencia de luchas en el seno del Partido. El PCCh no es un ente monolítico, está compuesto por facciones afines a diferentes corrientes ideológicas, económicas y políticas con visiones o intereses que pueden ser opuestos a los de la cúpula. El oficialismo y los medios estatales aseguran luchar contra las «camarillas y pandillas», pero el faccionalismo es una característica inherente al Partido desde su creación en 1921.

    Although Xi Jinping has become one of the most powerful leaders of the People's Republic of China, in order to analyze and understand the internal dynamics of the country, it is necessary to consider the existence of struggles within the party. The CCP is not a monolithic entity, it is made up of factions with different ideological, economic and political currents that have interests or visions that may be opposed to those of the leadership. The party and the state media claim to fight against "cliques and gangs", but factionalism is an inherent characteristic of the party since its very creation in 1921.
