    La regulación de la jornada de trabajo ha constituido un eje fundamental en la legislación laboral en los siglos XIX y XX justificada, frecuentemente, por razones de justicia social. La evolución normativa de dicha institución, manteniendo el carácter tuitivo de la misma, encuentra su razón de ser en nuestro tiempo por una mayor flexibilidad de la institución y a consecuencia de otorgarle un papel preponderante a la negociación colectiva. Y es precisamente en dicho ámbito en el que centraremos nuestro estudio, con la finalidad de analizar el tratamiento que a la misma se le han otorgados los convenios colectivos publicados durante los años 2021, 2022 y 2023, en los principales sectores de actividad.
