    Ante la multiplicidad de géneros de los que se nutre Metamorfosis de Ovidio, buscamos profundizar su relación con la novela antigua atendiendo a los puntos de contacto que se pueden reconocer en la historia de Píramo y Tisbe (Met. 4. 55-166) con los tópicos de la novela antigua. En primer lugar, estudiaremos su vínculo con la historia de Nino y Semíramis, aludida por el narrador externo del poema ovidiano, y luego nos concentraremos en los núcleos narrativos de las novelas conservadas íntegramente, que están presentes también en el relato de Píramo y Tisbe.

      Given the multiplicity of genres from which Ovid's Metamorphoses draws, we seek to deepen its relationship with the ancient novel by attending to the contact points that can be recognized in the story of Pyramus and Thisbe (Met. 4. 55-166) with respect to the topics of the ancient novel. First, we will study its link with the story of Nino and Semiramis, which is alluded by the external narrator of the Ovidian poem, and then we will concentrate on the narrative cores of the fully preserved novels, which are also present in the story of Pyramus and Thisbe.
