  • Resumen
    • Since the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty, the Court of Justice of the European Union begun to apply its powers in the field of common foreign and security policy (CFSP) in a particularly extensive way. In this paper we’ll analyze in particular the case law relating to decisions scrutinizing the restrictive measures against natural or legal persons. Until now the Court has ruled on these issues only twice, with two leading decisions: Rosneft in 2017 and Bank Refah Kargaran of 2020. But three more cases are now pending, and they may further enrich the case-law and provide the Court with the opportunity to decide whether or not to go on strengthening its powers of control over the CFSP.
