  Volem oferir una antologia succinta de textos poètics en accadi, hem intentat presentar un exemple dels temes més importants dels quals ens han arribat testimonis. Hem triat els textos més representatius, així com els més importants i reconeguts, ja en l’antiguitat. S’ha de tenir en compte que la majoria dels textos no han arribat complets a les nostres mans, per la qual cosa, en la majoria dels casos, els textos són fragmentaris. Hem afegit també un parell d’exemples de poesia en ugarític, una altra llengua semítica molt similar a l’accadi, però que, per geografia, cronologia i recursos estilístics, està més a prop del text bíblic hebreu.

  We would like to offer here a succinct anthology of Akkadian poetic texts. We have tried to present an example of the most important tòpics for which we have attestations. We have chosen the most representative and important texts, already recognised as such in antiquity. It should be borne in mind that most of these texts have not reached us in complete, and in most cases the texts are fragmentary. We have also added two examples of poetry in Ugaritic, another Semitic language very similar to Akkadian, but which, in terms of geography, chronology and stylistic resources, is closer to the Hebrew biblical text.
