  • This research, which studies the subject of "Alexandria Textile in the Ottoman Era", is new in its material and method. The study of this research relied on original sources, which are hundreds of documents found in the records of the Alexandria Sharia Court, which belong to in the Ottoman era. One of the results of this research was the study of all elements of the textile industry in Alexandria in the Ottoman era, as well as the publication of a number of documents related to the textile industry in Alexandria in this era.
